  • What to do in case of an accident?

    1. Do not make arrangements with third parties, or accept any responsibility.
    2. Immediately call one of the following numbers:

    3. Have the following for a smoother process:
      • Policy number
      • Receipt of payment
      • Driver's license
      • Circulation card
      • Exact location of the accident
    4. Request a report number and write it down including the date and name of the person who helped you.
    5. The adjuster will help with determining responsibility.
    6. Sometimes blocking the traffic can cause other accidents, if you do not block traffic remain in place of the accident until an adjuster responds to the scene of the accident.
  • What to do in case of total theft?
    1. Call one of the following telephone numbers immediately:

    2. Raise your complaint to the Public Prosecutor's Office corresponding to the location where the robbery occurred and ask for a certified copy with original stamps.
    3. Raise your complaint to the Federal Preventive Police (formerly Federal Highway Police) and request a certified copy. (This process is not necessary in Mexico City).
    4. Make an appointment with the adjuster to file the statement of the theft and explain the steps to take.
    5. The adjuster will provide a written report and you'll need to wait 30 days for the location of the vehicle.
    6. If it does not appear send the following documents:
      • Greeting card
      • bill
      • Circulation card
      • Holding of the last 5 years
      • Certified act before the Public Ministry and Federal Highway Police
      • Low plate count

    * This documentation will be delivered to the insurer with a delivery letter and shortly, your vehicle will be compensated.
