Distracted driving endangers you, your family and your friends. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that in 2014 crashes involving distracted drivers killed 3,179 people and injured 431,000 people.
You can help bring these numbers down by taking the Pronto Pledge.
The pronto Pledge is a simple promise to avoid using cell phones while driving. Although distracted driving takes many forms, cell phone use—including texting, taking pictures and using apps—represents a huge part of the problem.
Please do your part to keep our roads safe by taking this pledge and by encouraging your friends and family to do the same.
To take the pledge, simply print out a copy and sign it, or visit your local Pronto office and sign a pledge card there.
As a thank you for your commitment to safety, you can use the signed pledge to receive a $5.00 discount on California DMV registration services at your local Pronto office.
